My design adventure kicked off in 2021 when I proudly tossed my cap at Texas A&M (Gig em!) with a BA in Global Arts, Planning, Design, and Construction, sprinkled with a hint of Graphic Design and Leadership. Recently, I added another feather to my cap with an MA in Design and Innovation from Southern Methodist University, and let me tell you, it totally rocked my world. That's where I fell head over heels for Human-Centered Design (HCD) – a methodology that's all about putting the human experience front and center in problem-solving, no matter the industry.

 

So, what exactly do I do? Basically, I am a professional problem solver. I thrive on the unraveling of complex challenges and working alongside dream teams of diverse designers and clients to tackle them head-on. 

My specialty? Crafting solutions that hit the bullseye for the client. How do I pull it off? By delving into the nitty-gritty of analytics, soaking up qualitative insights, and wielding a diverse toolkit of design thinking methodologies.

 

But here's where the magic happens: it's not just about what we build – it's about how we build it and share it with the world. I'm all about peeling back the layers to understand the heartbeat of the solution. Who's shaping it? Where's it going? What’s distributing it? Who's using it? And what's the lay of the land we're navigating?

 

When I'm not elbow-deep in design projects, you'll likely find me whipping up some homemade pizza with my husband, doting on my four-legged fur baby, Franky Valentine (proudly named after Franky Valli and the Four Seasons), or adding a little color to the world in my paint studio.

 

So, that's me in a nutshell – a design-thinker, collaborator, and unabashed human enthusiast, ready to tackle the wicked problems where creativity meets strategy.
